Wilt Chamberlain was a man of many talents and surprisingly singing was one of them

Wilt Chamberlain was arguably the greatest player in NBA history, but apart from his talent for basketball, he was a man of many other skills. In college, he would participate in track and field, volleyball, acting, and of course, basketball. Little do you maybe know, but Wilt was also a great singer, and he recorded two songs back in 1960 when he was a rookie in the NBA.

It’s a common thing to see NBA players in a recording studio. However, most of them rap; some are even good at rapping, but not a lot of them sing well. Wilt was the complete opposite, and you can hear he has a good singing voice. The only two songs he ever published “That’s easy to say” and “By the River” are a genre that was very popular back in the day.

Even though there are no other recordings of him signing, it’s evident Wilt was indeed a once in a lifetime character and a man of many talents. You can argue whether he is the best basketball player in NBA history. It’s fair to assume he was the best singer among all basketball players.
