Stephen Curry ranks the best NBA players in the last 20 years

Stephen Curry is quietly having another MVP type season, however, his greatness is personified in 2 MVP trophies and 3 NBA championships he won in the last couple of years. Watching Curry play you might even think he is just entering his prime years even though he is over 30. The most exciting thing about Stephen Curry is that he is still chasing greatness and improving every season since he came into the league over a decade ago.

In a recent interview with the Today and Craig Melvin, Curry touched upon a couple of topics and one of them was in relation to the best players of the past 20 years and if he sees himself on that list. Curry said that if he needs to put his “GM hat on” it’s important that those players are a good fit when playing together.

“Last 20 years I got Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, LeBron and Tim Duncan. No Stephen Curry because I’m still writing the story, big fella. It’s to be determined on that. I got more work to do. Honestly, a lot of people want to talk about it but I feel like the way I got here is to keep my head down and just grind. I’m not going to switch that up, my confidence is already there. If you put me in the room with those dudes I’m going to hold my own but I am good where I’m at.”
