Stephen Curry is not pleased after the Warriors two blowout losses to start the season ‘We need to win. Immediately’

The Golden State Warriors suffered another big loss in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day, and after their first two games, they are 65 points in the minus. Yesterday’s game against the Bucks exposed many of their weaknesses, and even though it’s fair to say they are missing Draymond Green and Klay Thompson, the Warriors once again look like a lottery team rather than a team competing for a playoff spot.

After the game, Stephen Curry talked about the first two games in which the Warriors had the opportunity to face against two powerful teams from the eastern conference, both of them having championship-caliber squads. The Warriors made some changes to their roster this summer, and the team will take time to get better, but Curry incentivized the sheer urgency to win the next game.

I mean, a lot. . . We played two teams with championship aspirations. We understand that’s the level we have to get to, but we’re just not anywhere close to that. . . We didn’t expect it to be this rough early, but we knew it was going to be a long process. . . We need to win. Immediately.”

Curry is one of the most skilled and smartest players in the league; however, he understands the team as a unit didn’t perform well and believes more intelligent decision making in certain situations will be necessary.

Our group’s collective IQ has to get a lot better.”

The Warriors will be a different team when Draymond comes back because of his presence on defense and playmaking capabilities on offense. Their next game is against the Chicago Bulls, who are nowhere near as dangerous teams as the Nets or the Bucks, and it might be a good opportunity for the Warriors to bounce back with a much-needed win in the new season.
