Steph Curry shares which are the toughest defenders in NBA

Steph Curry is playing like a true MVP so far this season, putting up ridiculous video game numbers in the last few games. Curry has been fairly consistent throughout the entire season despite some injuries, averaging career-high 31 points per game, torching pretty much every team and defender in front of him. The Warriors are fighting hard to keep their playoff dreams alive, and they can thank Curry for even being in the position to be competitive.

The way Curry is playing immediately raised the question of is there anyone in the NBA that can at least slow him down because it’s evident nobody can stop him. In a recent interview for the Dubs Talk show, Curry talked about the players who defensively give him the most problems. Those guys are the ones Curry needs to bring his A-game on, even though he admits he never feels the pressure no matter who is in front of him.

Jrue Holiday, Avery Bradley, Tony Allen when he was in the league. There are guys that have a knack for being in the right place at the right time, being physical, studying your game, and your moves. Never in my mind are you scared to come in and feel like they can stop you, but you know you have to work a little harder that particular night. You need to play a little smarter.

Curry also mentioned Patrick Beverly, who will always use different mind games to throw you out of balance. However, Curry appreciates what their doing because that’s his job and role on the team. Even though sometimes they win a battle or two against Curry, he is convinced he usually takes care of business, dropping 30,40, or even more points on any player that tries to stop him.

Guys like Pat Bev uses antics and stuff like that, so I have to deal with that. I think those guys exist, and that is why they’re getting paid to do, defend the best guys in the league, but still, you can get your numbers on them.

The last name he mentioned is none other than his younger brother Seth Curry who knows Steph better than anyone. Growing up together and spending countless hours shooting and playing against each other gives Seth in some regards that extra edge because he knows pretty much any move Steph has in his bag of tricks.

However, Seth Curry is the one that frustrates me the most cause he has that look like I know what you are going to do. In the playoffs when he was in Portland, I think he had four steals on me. I think he disarmed me a little. It felt like we are in the backyard again, and he was everywhere, and I couldn’t figure it out, so he is on that list too.
