Scottie Pippen calls Phil Jackson a racist and doesn’t have a problem with that

Scottie Pippen is creating a lot of buzz with some of the statements he recently made. The most recent one is calling Phil Jackson a racist during an interview on The Dan Patrick Show. Pippen is still mad at Jackson for not allowing him to take the last shot in a playoff game against the Knicks back in 1994. The last play was drawn up for Toni Kukoc, who delivered big-time while Pippen stayed out of the game because he was protesting the fact Jackson decided to go with Kukoc on the last play.

DP: “.. By saying it was a racial move then you’re calling Phil Jackson a racist…”

Pippen: “I don’t have a problem with that.”

DP: “Do you think Phil was?”

Pippen: “Oh yeah…”

In the interview, Pippen also talked about The Last Dance and how it was a documentary for Michael Jordan and not the Chicago Bulls. He even went that far as to say a lot of the footage in the documentary was rehearsed.

That was building his own documentary because he knew he was controlling the cameras. All those cameras that were working were working basically for Michael Jordan and not the Chicago Bulls. They were filming Come Fly Me, the Air Jordan videos. That was not naturally spoken, that was rehearsed.

Scottie Pippen, Dan Patrick Show

Pippen is obviously doing his best to gain more traction for his new brand of whiskey that just came out. That must be the main reason for saying all these things that make no sense when you put it all into perspective. Calling Phil Jackson a racist for making the right decision that led to the Bulls winning the game is absurd. Pippen should definitely stop with this nonsense because most fans won’t appreciate it, and he will receive a severe backlash for his statements.
