Rodman to Embiid: ‘Shut the F— Up‘

Last week Joel Embiid made the news headlines by adding another player in the GOAT debate, by saying Wilt Chamberlain is the rightful GOAT instead of Michael Jordan. Embiid joined The Ringer for an interview during All-Star weekend and suggested his opinion:

“To me, you got Wilt Chamberlain. I mean, he has all the records. They’re never gonna be beaten. I don’t see anybody getting 100 points in a game. That’s it. He’s the GOAT.”

It sparked a lot of backlash, but one of the most annoyed people was Dennis Rodman.

Known as a loud and noticeable character, Rodman made sure to keep his image the same even after his playing days.

While he was playing with Jordan and the championship Bulls, one of his main tasks was to make sure nobody touches MJ. It seems like that habit didn’t go away in their retirement.

On a short interview with TMZ Sports Rodman shared his opinion:

“You’re goddamn right he’s wrong,”

“Joel Embiid, you’re doing a great job for your little island or country where you’re from, man. Shut the f–k up, go do your goddamn job and do Philly proud. That’s the one thing they need, a championship.”

Rodman played with Jordan in the 1990s and won three championships with him on the Bulls, so he knows what he is talking about, but is also probably a bit biased because MJ helped him get three rings.

Never the less it always great to hear the opinion from one of the most exciting and fun players in the history of the NBA.
