[1996] Shaquille O’ Neal shows David Robinson who's the new boss in town!

From the start of his NBA career, Shaq went on record several times saying how he idolized The Admiral and wanted to pattern his game after him.

However, during their first matchup, David Robinson dominated Shaq so bad that "The Diesel" had to think of something to motivate himself in upcoming duels.

This dunk took place in the '96 All-Star Game, and the exciting thing about it was that Shaq and Robinson already had a beef going on. David Robinson had outplayed Shaq on a couple of previous occasions earlier that year, so Shaq was eager to prove himself.

The 'beef' between them was for the most part fueled by Shaq because he thrived on it — something about The Admiral refusing to sign an autograph when he was a kid. O'Neal later admitted he made the whole thing up.

Anyways, back to the dunk — Grant Hill was pushing the ball up court with Shaq close by. Hill bounced the ball off to Shaq, and Shaq took one dribble and exploded off two feet to posterize The Admiral. Shaq was probably in the best shape of his life back then, too bad he couldn't maintain his weight in a better manner throughout his career.
