The night Darrick Martin learned not to trash talk MJ

Winning 72 teams was an astonishing achievement for the Chicago Bulls. They were the most dominant team ever and had a target on their back every night. Most of their wins were a result of their superior talent, but one night in Vancouver (yes, the Grizzlies were in Vancouver back in 1995) their win was a result of the dumbest decision you can make on a basketball court - trash-talking Michael Jordan.

If you know anything about basketball, you know you don't trash talk Michael Jordan. Only one thing can come from it. Darrick Martin learned that lesson the hard way. The Bulls were in Vancouver and having a rough night. Jordan was 4 - 16 with about 10 minutes left in the game and the expansion team was about to win.

Carried away by the home crowd, and partly by the fact he was a part of Space Jam the previous summer, Darrick Martin felt confident enough to throw some trash talk MJ's way. "Hey, Mike, sh@%s not falling tonight Mike!"
