Skip Bayless's wife is a fan of LeBron James: "I would like to meet him"
LeBron James is likely one of the most hated athletes in the history of sports, despite being one of the greatest basketball players ever. The list of people who don't like "The King" is long, but no one jumps out more and has a bigger reputation than Skip Bayless. But that doesn't mean his wife shares the same opinion.
Conflict of interest
Skip Bayless really made a name for himself in the media during his days at ESPN and now Fox Sports, being one of the most controversial analysts out there. He's stubborn, bold, and often unlogical takes rile up his co-hosts and all the people watching, but that's what makes it interesting.
Skip is notorious for loving and hating certain players, always making an argument for glorifying or bashing a guy no matter the situation, dependent on his opinion of the individual. The list of guys Skip doesn't like is long, but LeBron is at the top of that list.

For years, James has been the main topic of Skip's shows, and even when he is out of the playoffs, Skip will find a way to include LeBron in the conversation and throw shade at every opportunity. Sure, Bayless has made a living off of hating LeBron and often does it to a cartoonish fault, but you couldn't simply hate on a guy for 20 years without believing it.
Interestingly, in his new show recently, Skip talked with his wife, Ernestine Sclafani Bayless, about various topics and, of course, LeBron James. In a surprising turn of events, Skip's wife actually admitted her fondness of LeBron and his personality.
"I don't bring it up because I'm afraid. I like LeBron, I'm sorry. I'm going to admit. I do like LeBron James. I think that he's done wonderful things for being a role model. I know he curses occasionally, but everybody curses occasionally. I think that he seems to be a nice guy. Even after the game and they talk to him, he's really calm and he's really nice. I don't have hatred for him. He's built schools and he's done all these wonderful things. I don't have a hatred. ... I don't have a problem with him, I think he's a nice man. I would like to meet him and say hello. He could call me, he could say hello, I don't care. I like him."

It's nice to see that at least someone in the family has some objectivity. But even though it makes all the sense in the world, you know it doesn't sit right with Skip to hear his better half talk so glowingly of his arch-nemesis. But at least, the one thing in which Skip always praises LeBron is the off-court activity and role model image. A one-on-one interview between those two would be must-watch TV!
