Rasheed Wallace goes after the refs in an interview with Kevin Garnett: "I respect nothing from these clowns."

The refs and Rasheed Wallace never had much love for each other. He is the all-time leader in technical fouls, with 317 in his resume, which was previously held by Dennis Rodman. However, Rasheed took his disagreement with the refs to another level. He even has the record for most technical fouls in one season with 41 back 2000/01 when playing for the Portland Trailblazers. In an earlier interview on Area 21 with Kevin Garnett, they discussed the problems players have with the refs, and Rasheed wasn't holding back.

Garnett said how there should be more respect between the players and the referees, but Rasheed didn't want to hear anything about it. He said he doesn't respect them because they were targeting himself and other players in certain situations during games.

"I am all in, all day. I respect nothing from these clowns.
They are calling up New York. It's not like they are sitting up there and watching the replays themselves. They are waiting for New York. Go ahead and say it was a flagrant one. "

Rasheed was never afraid of expressing himself during games and even on this show, saying how the refs and the league were hostile towards Rasheed and, somehow, excluding him as troublesome. In his fashion, Wallace said he has no love for them and never cared about the fines.

"Yo, I got no love for them cats. They are out there cheating, and I am going to give you everything I got. Guess what, you are going to hear what I gotta say. I don't care about no fines. For me, it wasn't about the money cause you can't control me with the money. That's what they do. You can tech me, but you only got that power for only 48 minutes. What about when we are off this court, and I see your ass."

There were often complaints from the fans and some players that the refs are somehow trying to steal the show by calling unnecessary things during games. It's hard to say whether that is true or not, but it was evident they never liked Sheed, mostly because they were afraid of him. Sheed, on the other hand, didn't like them, and because he knew he could intimidate him, he often did, which caused a lot of backlash from them.
