Patrick Beverley does a hilarious Giannis Antetokounmpo impression when speaking on their missed matchup in Minnesota
Giannis Antetokounmpo is notorious for his off-court personality having a surprisingly light-hearted nature. The same can be said about Patrick Beverley.
The Los Angeles Lakers point guard is also quite good at impressions, and while telling a story about a missed matchup against the Greek Freak, Beverley did one of the Milwaukee Bucks superstar.

"Why the f*ck he ain't playing?"
There have been multiple off-court instances where Giannis has gone viral for giving hilarious, unexpected answers. A few cases include his rave about Oreos and his infamous Instagram lives. And while he's a very humble and funny person outside of basketball, Giannis is a matchup nightmare on the court.
That being said, Pat Bev is always up for a challenge. So when then-Timberwolves guard saw that Antetokounmpo was listed out for their game in Minnesota, he was disappointed. Beverley talked about it on his podcast “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone."
"We play the Milwaukee Bucks in Minnesota. Mind you, we beat Milwaukee earlier in the year, anyway. So it's our second time playing them, last time playing them. I'm thinking that Giannis is about to play. I came in and look on the board; Giannis's name was out. I'm furious now; why the f*ck he ain't playing?" Pat Bev said.
Beverley's impression of Giannis
It's clear Beverley wanted to go head-to-head with the two-time MVP and send him home with a loss. He has a competitive nature that adds to the scrappiness of his game. While some people hate his style of play, others love his "down and dirty" methods on the defensive end. While he may not always win, he'll always play with heart and compete to the best of his abilities.
"See his brother, say, 'What's up, your brother ducking smoke?'... Giannis is walking out the locker room to the court. Stops the coaches. 'Excuse me, guys, excuse me, guys.' Stops the coaches. This is a true story; it's a true story. Stops the coaches and says, 'Excuse me, guys. Greek, what up G, Never duck smoke, Pat.' 'So why the f*ck you ain't playing Greek?' 'I was in the back eating pasta; never duck smoke, Pat. Never, never, I like you. I like you, Pat; you want to win championship; you come to Milwaukee'... I said, 'Nah f*ck that, you come to Minnesota,'" Beverley said.
After a short back and forth, the two tried to recruit each other to their teams. Both players were less than interested in joining the opposing organization. Although, Beverley nailed the way Antetokounmpo talks to near perfection.
