Lou Williams once talked a gunman out of robbing him

Lou Willams is having one of the best seasons in his career and it's all coming at the age of 32 in a team nobody expected to be any good. A part of their success definitely lies within the impact an experienced veteran like Lou brings to the table. However, despite being a true baller on the court, Lou is a great person off it and there is one incredible story that perfectly depicts that.

On Christmas Eve back in 2011, Lou Williams almost got robbed in Philadelphia, at the time playing for the Sixers. Williams told the media that he was driving his car when the man began to approach with a gun drawn and then knocked on the driver's window.

Williams was able to talk the gunman out of his actions and actually went to have dinner with him.
