Recently Jalen Rose was accused of inappropriately greeting co-host Malika Andrews when he appeared on ESPN’s NBA Today. While nothing major transpired on Live Television, former No. 1 pick – Kwame Brown went on to bash the female journalist for trying to pull off a ‘Me Too’ on Rose as the latter is reportedly on the verge of being fired from ‘The Worldwide Leader in Sports’ after being an on-air associate for more than 15 years.
Brown condemned Andrews in a viral video, saying, “That type of woman that Malika Andrews is…she is a representation of the worst type of woman in the world in my opinion. You want to have an opinion on everything? You…want to talk about everything? But then you want to tip the scale to where this feminist bullsh*t is ruling. Jalen Rose did not put his hand in your armpit ma’am. And if that was something that he did and you thought he did, and this man revered you as his sister, you might have wanted to talk to your brother off-camera. Y’all better be careful about these women like this.”
Kwame accused Malika Andrews of attacking ‘Black’ men
The former Washington Wizards Power Forward highlighted Malika Andrews’s hypocrisy in keeping her silence on ‘real’ matters. To make matters worse, Kwame even questioned Malika Andrews for intentionally portraying her co-host negatively on TV.
Brown further alleged, “We never heard you say nothing about Dana White (UFC President) slapping his wife over and over again. How come we never heard that ma’am? How come you always attacking Black men and always trying to make sure Black men are in line? Who’s paying you to do that ma’am?”
That isn’t the first time Kwame Brown has chosen targets to antagonize and engage with basketball fanatics over controversial issues. But at least it keeps him well afloat in the spotlight.
Malika Andrews finds herself in hot waters once again
As Brown pointed out, the awkward interaction with Jalen Rose isn’t the first for Malika Andrews. The 28-year-old joined ESPN two years ago when fan-favorite – Rachel Nichols was controversially revoked from the team.
Andrews even got into a feisty argument with Stephen A. Smith at the time of Ime Udoka’s cheating scandal.
Malika called the speculation of the various women involved with former Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka’ gross and unnecessary.’ To make matters even worse, Andrews even condemned Smith by debating whether the concerned suspension was justified, instead of further blaming women, which apparently the veteran sports media personality never did.
