Goran Dragic made a bold prediction about Luka Doncic two years ago that came to a realization

At the age of 20, Luka Doncic is already an established NBA player and even an MVP candidate so far this season. The young Wunderkind from Slovenia took the league by storm in his rookie season; however, his second year is even more spectacular. Doncic is putting up MVP like numbers and is currently averaging 29.9 points, 9.7, 8.3, while being extremely efficient shooting the ball.

However, people who were watching Doncic before he came to the NBA knew he was a big-time player even when he was a teenage boy playing for the Spanish team Real Madrid. Before he arrived in the NBA, he already won several championships with Real Madrid but also his national team. In one of the interviews a couple of years ago, Goran Dragic, who is a member of Miami Heat and Doncic's teammate in the national team, said Luka would be the best player in Europe and the NBA.

"He's gonna be the best player in Europe in a couple of years. Trust me on that. The NBA too. He's a born winner. I'm not kidding... Mark my words. He's going to be one of the best in the whole world."

His prediction realized if you look at all the things Doncic is doing this season for the Mavericks. It's crazy when you take into consideration that he is only 20 years old and could easily dominate the NBA for the next 15-20 years. The sky is the limit for Doncic, and even though he is already playing on an MVP level, it's scary to think how much more he can improve his game. The Dallas Mavericks fans are the lucky ones having him and Kristaps Porzingis playing for their team for the years to come.
