"I don't even know if they know I got 'em up in my crib" - Dwyane Wade unveils a collection of signed jerseys from his fellow NBA stars

Not all NBA stars recognize the greatness of other players the way D-Wade did.

Before heading into the Hall of Fame, Dwyane Wade took us on a trip to his humble home and unveiled his special collection of signed jerseys from his fellow NBA stars. As expected, it was a great selection as it had one from LeBron James, Chris Paul, the San Antonio Spurs’ legendary Big 3, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Garnett, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Steph Curry, and Kawhi Leonard.

Admittedly, D-Wade said he’s not sure if those players are aware that he had their jerseys framed and hung on the wall of his garage.

“I don’t even know if they know I got ‘em up in my crib. Salute to all those guys,” Wade said in a video posted on his official social media accounts.

Game recognize game

Looking back at D-Wade’s illustrious career, it can be recalled that he played alongside and rivaled a wide array of Hall of Famers. Wade confided that those jerseys are in his garage for a reason – each one of them “means something” to him. However, Wade only asked for a signature if a player was either up there in the pantheon of the greatest of all time or he simply loved his game.

“I don’t have a lot of jerseys. I’m not one of those guys that’s gonna wrap his house with jerseys… What I decided to do is to pick some of my favorite players who are also some Hall of Famers, and I went to put ‘em up my in my garage,” the three-time NBA champion explained.

D-Wade may never hang a Paul Pierce jersey on his wall

Looking at Wade’s picks, it’s quite noticeable that he got one from some of his NBA Finals rivals, such as Dirk, KG, and the Spurs Big 3. For sure, some may be wondering why there’s no Paul Pierce jersey in there. But after Wade’s response to Pierce’s recent and bold claim that he had a better career, it’s safe to say that “Flash” may never bother to ask for one from “The Truth.”

According to D-Wade, it’s good to know that he is “living rent-free” inside Pierce’s head, but regardless of what the Boston Celtics legend said, he would never feel the need to rub his accomplishments in someone’s face.

“Listen, rent is expensive in America, and I’m living rent-free right now. So let him keep… I like living rent-free,” Wade wittily remarked.

“This is why I love the media. It’s documented. I don’t need to say anything. Everything is documented. So, I’ll let you guys go ahead and talk about all that stuff,” he added.
