After it was announced Joe Biden would become the 46th president in USA history, NBA players felt a sigh of relief. They went to their social media platforms to express their satisfaction with the decision the American people made. It was a well-known fact a significant majority of NBA players disliked Donald Trump and openly criticized him for poorly handling various racial and social issues.
Players themselves have been very involved in the campaign of getting more people registered to vote, and all of them used their platforms to express support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who will be the first female vice-president in US history. Ever since Trump took office, none of the NBA teams that won an NBA championship didn’t come and visited him in the White House, which was a tradition that started almost 30 years ago. Now with Biden in charge, that will most definitely change.
I am extremely excited to have @JoeBiden as president but growing up with my mother and sister two black women! For them to have someone like @KamalaHarris leading the charge man is truly incredible not just for black people but for BLACK WOMEN! βπΎπ―
