LeBron James has a message for everyone who is criticizing the Lakers new roster

The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the most active teams in the free agency so far this season, completely reshaping their roster coming into the new season. They landed several new players on their roster, starting with Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Wayne Ellington, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard, Malik Monk, and Kendrick Nunn. Most of these players are already past their prime, which makes the Lakers the 5th oldest roster in the last fifteen years.

It didn’t take long for a lot of NBA fans to criticize these moves saying the Lakers have good names on paper, but they are too old, and nobody sees them coexisting together as a real team. Obviously, there are many question marks coming into the next season, and it will take time for the Lakers to build the chemistry needed for them to make an impact in the postseason.

LeBron James already heard all the criticism that is coming the Lakers way regarding them not having the players capable of taking them to the NBA Finals. He took to his Twitter account and shared a message in which he shares his support for his teammates and believes they have what it takes to impact the NBA. He soon deleted the same Tweet, but the message he wanted to make was clear.

LeBron uses all the criticism to motivate himself and his teammates to accomplish something that apparently not many people believe they can achieve. The Lakers will indeed need to figure a lot of things as they move along during the season, and there will be ups and downs during that process. However, if we learned anything in the past decade, it’s that every team with LeBron on their squad as a leader has the highest chances of making it to the NBA Finals. Adding Westbrook and having a healthy Anthony Davis is a big reason the Lakers are once again a championship contender no matter what other people think of their chances to win a title.
