Stephen Jackson loses it because of the way Carmelo Anthony has been treated

Carmelo Anthony has been in the media and throughout social media channels, quite a bit over the past couple of days after his appearance on the show "First Take" with Stephen A. Smith. In the interview, Carmelo discussed various topics about some of the things that happened recently in his career and one of them is an in-depth insight on what happened with the Houston Rockets.

The interview by Carmelo initiated a lot of comments, both positive and even negative ones from the NBA community. The one who came into Carmelo's defense was Stephen Jackson who often comments on popular NBA topics. Jackson said Carmelo was blackballed from the league for no good reason and that he definitely deserves a spot on a roster in the NBA.

"They don't talk about how they treat players and kick them out of the league and blackball them when they want too. It's not about the farewell tour with Carmelo, it's about respect Carmelo deserves. Melo has the same stats as Paul Pierce. Melo has better stats than a lot of HOF's. Give that man the respect he deserves. This s**t has nothing to do with the farewell tour because he belongs in the league. He paid his dues, he is one of the best players and scorers the game has ever seen. It's all about respect."

Jackson's comments about Carmelo actually being blackballed from the league are quite serious in its nature because it portrays a negative image for the league and the teams. Even though there are still no teams that are showing interest for Carmelo at this stage, that might change in the upcoming weeks. Carmelo has been active in the gym and is still capable of providing 20-25 solid minutes on a nightly basis. The only question that remains is, which team will be ready to gamble on Carmelo.
