Shaquille O'Neal is prepared to write 'Suns' on his a** if the Phoenix Suns win the west this season

Shaq loves the Warriors

Ever since this season started, Shaquille O'Neal said on several occasions he is a big fan of the Warriors and Steph Curry and sees them as the leading championship contender. After missing two seasons with an injury, they also got Klay Thompson back in the starting lineup, which is one additional reason why Shaq and a lot of other fans see them as favorites to win it all this year. Shaq is also known to make some pretty ridiculous statements in his broadcasting career, and on the new episode of his podcast, he might have outdone himself this time.

During the latest episode of the Big Podcast with Shaq, he shared why he admires the Warriors and the main reasons they are his favorite to win an NBA title this season. Playing team basketball and having everyone involved, especially on offense, has been the Warriors' main characteristic throughout these years. Shaq loves that about the Warriors and thinks that is their most significant advantage over other teams.

"That is one of my favorite teams, and they play the right way. They move the ball; everybody is getting involved, the crowd is involved. When everyone is involved, then the city is involved, you are going to win. Golden State will win a championship this season, I', guarantee it.They have two of the best shooters in the damn game. Everyone is trying to match them, and you don't have those caliber players. Not only do they have one championship, but they did it multiple times, and they shut the naysayers up like myself."

He has a wild proposition if Suns beat the Warriors

Since he is convinced the Warriors will win it all, he even made a bet on his show that if the Suns beat the Warriors, he would write the word Suns over his two butt cheeks. That is a pretty courageous proposition by Shaq, especially since he would go live on his Instagram account while doing it.

"They are unstoppable; nobody has a chance. Let's place a bet on it. If the Suns beat Golden State, I am going to walk two blocks with Suns written on my ass, aight? I will post it live on Instagram. I'll walk two blocks."

There is no question Shaq is optimistic the Warriors will win the championship this season. Whether he would actually do what he said he would if the Suns beat the Warriors remains to be seen after the NBA Finals in June. The Suns are currently the best team in the NBA with 33 wins since they overtook the Warriors, who had the best record in the league for most of this season. They are also playing excellent team basketball and, in many ways, remind of the Warriors since their playing style is so similar.

We can only wait to see if these two teams meet in the western conference finals and the Suns beat the Warriors. If Shaq follows true and actually does what he said he would do, then that would be pretty legendary, even though the reality is that someone of his reputation wouldn't follow through. So let's hope to see the Warriors and the Suns in the playoffs and wait for Shaq to make his move.
