There was quite a bit of hype surrounding the Summer League, just because everyone was expecting to see how Zion Williamson would perform against some of his future colleagues and players fighting for the position to be a part of an NBA team. Unfortunately for the fans, we were only able to see a glimpse of him actually playing.

In his first game against the New York Knicks, Zion Williamson suffered a knee injury which is now preventing him to play for the rest of the Summer League. It's definitely worth noting he did score 11 points and had 3 rebounds displaying some really spectacular moves in his short playing time.

There are major concerns around the shape Zion Williamson is currently in which is actually something that followed him even during his college days. Standing at 6'7" Zion is listed anywhere from 280 to 290 pounds which is extraordinary even for his body type. The main problem a lot of analysts see is that he will be injury prone quite a bit just because of his style of play in combination with his excessive weight.

During ESPN's show "Get Up", Seth Greenberg said the main concern he sees in Zion's career is conditioning and the ability to stay in shape in order to be successful. Greenberg made some really good points about everything that comes along by being a professional NBA player, and the first and foremost thing is being in shape.

"My concern is about his body. You can't improve unless you are in shape and he is not in shape. And when he says precautionary the reason why they are holding Zion Williamson out at whatever it is, it's significantly overweight. He has a greater chance of being injured in the summer league because of running, 24-second clock, the physicality of the game is different. Zion Williamson needs to understand that all that goes along by being an NBA player. First and foremost he has to work on his training and his body. I have no concerns about his game, I think he is going to be a terrific player, but he is not in shape."
