There were numerous stories about Kobe's competitiveness and dedication to practicing under any circumstances. In a recent interview for the Uninterrupted, Nick Young talked about a situation that happened in practice when he was playing for the Lakers.

Young said Kobe broke his thumb in practice when he swiped with the ball. Young was in extreme pain because of this incident but Kobe didn't believe it happened and started talking trash to Young.

Kobe thought Young was trying to avoid practice, so he continued to hit him in that hand and passed the ball extra hard at him continuously throughout the practice.
