MICHAEL JORDAN TALKS ABOUT HIS FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH PLAYERS USING DRUGS during his rookie season: "The first thing I said, 'Look, man, I'm out."

Long expected documentary 'The Last Dance' about the Chicago Bulls in the 1998 season came out yesterday and raised a lot of attention among basketball fans worldwide. The first episode was mostly focused around Jordan's transition from college basketball to the NBA. People were able to see what it looked for Jordan coming into the big boys league where things were quite different than what he was used to while playing for UNC.

One of the most intriguing stories Jordan recalled was from preseason in 1984. The Bulls were in Peoria at that time in a hotel, and young Jordan was looking for his teammates. After finding them in a hotel room, he saw that there were quite a few people in the room, making a lot of noise. Jordan entered the room and was immediately in shock with what he saw from his teammates.

Jordan said the entire team was inside the room doing things he never experienced before in his life. He was referring to players using all sorts of drugs, which is something he didn't want to be associated with early on in his career.

"I walk in and practically the whole team was in there. And it was like, things I've never seen in my life, you know, as a young kid. You got your lines over here, you got your weed smokers over here, you got your women over here. So the first thing I said, 'look man, I'm out.' Because all I can think about is if they come and raid this place, right about now, I am just as guilty as everyone else that's in this room. And from that point on, I was more or less on my own."
