Luka Dončić is the MVP favorite, yet again


Luka Dončić has accomplished many things in his young career. A championship and an MVP could solidify his resume as one of the best young stars today, and according to Vegas, he has a great chance to get one of those next season.

The Slovenian wunderkind has been selected to be on the cover of NBA 2K22. It may sound trivial, but being on the cover of basketball's most popular game means you have established yourself as one of the game's biggest stars. Usually, a player is selected because he is the future, if not the current star of the league. What made it more special for Luka is that Dirk Nowitzki is also gracing the NBA 75th Anniversary edition covers. Kevin Durant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are also together with Dirk on the said cover. 

For Dallas fans, it could signify the passing of the torch from a legend to the next. Being an inspiration to many young kids playing the game could light a fire in Luka to do better next year. He is now the face of a popular video game. It would be an honor and a privilege to prove the selection is rightfully made.
