Luka Doncic believes Giannis Antetokounmpo could win five more MVPs
Rivals don't often heap praises on the court but not Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Slovenian wunderkind believes the Greek Freak could dominate the league as the most valuable player for a long time.
Doncic praises Antetokounmpo’s personality
Doncic and Antetokounmpo are non-American-born players who are killing it in the NBA. Often glorified as the next faces of the league, fans have pitted the two European superstars against each other. Still, in reality, they maintain a high level of respect and admiration towards each other. The Mavericks young superstar shared what makes Antetokounmpo successful and likable.
"You know what I'm gonna say. He's an amazing player but what amazes me the most is his personality, a great guy just to talk to. He was the MVP twice, I think he'll be maybe five times more. A great player." via Europhoops
What separates the Milwaukee Bucks star from other great players in the NBA is his attitude. Giannis never cares about himself; it's always about winning and how to improve. He never lets fame and glory get in his head. If there's one caveat in his personality, he never knows when to take things easy.

Future faces of the league and multiple MVP winners
Giannis has two MVPs, and if Luka called it right, it would be seven MVPs in total for the Greek Freak in the future, which means an almost decade-long dominance in the NBA. Luka is not bad himself either, but the Mavericks need to exorcise the demons that haunt them in the first round of playoffs. If Dallas Mavericks can go all the way to the finals, it could cement Doncic as a legit superstar in the league and a postseason performer and achiever.
Here's how their career numbers have been so far:
Antetokounmpo: 21.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1 steal, and 1.4 blocks in nine years.
Doncic: 26.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 1 steal, and 0.4 blocks in four years.
The two generational talents are often compared to one another. They have different playing styles but can dominate games like no other. Doncic uses pace and flair to control the game, while Giannis is known for playing hard and having the attack mode all the time. When asked if he was due for an MVP trophy soon, the 23-year-old remained humble, saying winning the championship matters more.
It would be interesting to see a Bucks vs. Mavs in the NBA finals. Two European stars entrusted with their respective franchise's future, over-delivered, and more. For sure, Luka would gladly allow Giannis to take home the MVP awards as long as he gets to win the NBA championships.
