LeBron James shares why having Alex Caruso on the Lakers is a great thing for the team

Alex Caruso is one of the low-key stars on the Lakers squad this season. He caught everyone's attention last season when we were able to see him in action more than in his rookie season. Caruso is a versatile point guard with an underrated leaping ability as we saw him throw down a few dunks in his career that brought the crowds to their feet.

His minutes are slightly down in comparison to the last season, which is reasonable when you take into account the roster has changed significantly since the Lakers are aiming for a championship. On the other hand, Caruso's most popular teammate LeBron is thrilled to have him on the roster and said he brings a lot of different things to the table.

"He gives us everything. He gives us a steady ballhandler; he gives us a defensive presence; he gives us basketball IQ and toughness. And we need everything from that."

He established himself as a guard capable of taking on some point guard responsibility when necessary but most definitely put people into a frenzy when doing something spectacular on the court.
