LeBron James sends a strong message to his teammates

LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the most controversial topics this season, as a lot of drama has been around them.

Last night they disappointingly lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, as their playoff hopes are slowly getting thinner and the tensions are getting higher in the locker room.

This was their 4thloss in 5 games, as their chances of making the playoffs have fallen down to 4%, with the Clippers, Kings and all of the other teams in the hunt looking better than them.

After the game, James was once again critical of his teammates, as he said this:

It seems that he is referring to his young supporting cast, which has obviously been playing down after all the rumors about the possible Anthony Davis trade which involved about a half of the Lakers roster.

Although Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma had good games, the rest of the roster was pretty bad, especially on the defensive side of the floor, showing a lack of effort. But you can’t say LeBron was any different as he slacked on the defensive end through the whole game.

When the season started nobody really expected them to be in a championship hunt, but they were viewed as a dark horse that could surprise and be a tough team to beat in the playoffs, especially considering you have LeBron James on your team.

But with all the inconsistency in the first half of the season and recent trade talks that have allegedly destroyed the team and the chemistry, it seems that the Lakers at 29-31 in the 11th spot in the West could very well miss the playoffs.

It is a scenario that was really not expected, especially for a player of LeBron’s caliber. But then on the other side, you can never count this man out. We will have to wait and see what happens.
