The All-Star weekend is just around the corner and we pretty much know all the contestants at different events. This will be Klay Thompson's fifth All-Star appearance and over the course of years, he learned to appreciate the event and today at the press conference said he is looking forward to the one in Charlotte.

It's a show, I mean just a spectacle of great athleticism. The whole weekend is a lot of fun and so many great events. Charlotte is a great city, I've spent a lot of time there. It's a celebration of the NBA, and it's an honor to be there, apart of it in playing the big game. I'm honored and excited to get down there.

For the past four years, Klay was an active contender in the three-point contest and he even won the competition 3 years ago. This time, Klay decided he will not participate and will enjoy the contest from the sidelines for the first time in his career. However, he plans to participate once again before he retires
