Kanter rips LeBron for China position


Rarely has a superstar been so unanimously ridiculed and criticized for something as LeBron for his China and Morey statement (and subsequent tweet). Just check it out on Twitter or Reddit, and the vox populi is clear - LeBron sold out

Only two people in the NBA criticized Morey - Nets owner Joseph Tsai, co-founder of Alibaba (China's Amazon) and LeBron James, Nike athlete and Space Jam 2 star/producer. Everyone else made it a point to express regret, but never criticize Morey's right to free speech. It didn't take long for players to react, and Enes Kanter went furthest in disagreeing with LeBron.

Kanter's been living under tremendous pressure due to supporting a man the Turkish government labeled a threat. It went so far that the NBA advised Kanter not to travel to a London game last season because they can't guarantee his safety.
