John Wall possibly out for the rest of the season

According to Candance Buckner of PostSports, Washington Wizards all-star John Wall might be out for the season. Apparently, he's been having trouble with his left heel for years and it reached a point at which the discomfort level is just too high for NBA intensity of play.

'Luckily' for the Wizards, they are having a dreadful season this year, so it might be the perfect time to send Wall to surgery and tank for the rest of the year. Washington is currently 11th in the East with a 13-23 record.

If Wall decides to get surgery for his left heel, he is expected to miss 6-8 months depending on how well he recovers. That means he's definitely out for this season and will use up most of the off-season to get back on track.

Despite being hurt for a longer period of time and playing with a bad left heel, Wall has been putting up impressive numbers this season with 20.7 points per game and 8.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds. He would probably make it to the All Star team with these numbers.
