John Wall goes down with a season-ending injury

Things are not looking for the Washington Wizards at the moment and it seems it got even worse really fast. According to different reports, John Wall has suffered a ruptured Achilles and is set to undergo surgery. After the surgery, Wall will receive treatment and will probably miss basketball action for another 12 months.

What is bizarre about this injury is that it happened at Wall's home where he slipped and fell pretty hard which caused the rupture of Achilles.

Washington Wizards medical staff said Wall developed an infection in the incision from the initial surgery he had this January. During the treatment to clean out the infection, they also discovered the rupture in his Achilles.

This is without a doubt a bad timing for the Wizards who are currently on the 10th spot in the eastern conference and with many problems already in their locker room. John Wall already missed 20 games this season because of injury, but in the 32 games, he played so far this season he is averaging over 20 points and 9 assists per game.
