In a recent podcast with Zach Lowe, JJ Redick shared his thoughts about seeing Ben Simmons draining jump shots in various pick-up games that were featured on various social media channels.

Ben Simmons actively worked on improving his jump shot and a few recent videos of him playing a pick-up game seem to prove it. His jump shot looks more fluid than ever before and people are already saying how the entire league will be in a big problem if he makes those shots consistently in a game. JJ Redick who is one of the best shooters in the NBA is still not convinced in Simmons's jump shot.

"The video that went viral, he is shooting with confidence. I'm such a curmudgeon when it comes to these videos in the offseason. I don't buy them. I watch 'em and I'm like that's just awful basketball a lot of times"

Even though Redick is still not sold on Simmons jump shooting ability, he did say he works hard at it and that it's only a matter of time until he will be able to shot.

"Ben works. He worked all of last season. I've witnessed him getting shots up after practice this season. I think he will be able to shot at some point and a lot of its just confidence. He can shot it at high enough clip when he is shooting spot shots so it should translate at some point to shooting threes in a game. "
