Jeremy Lin doesn't appreciate the shade being thrown at Carmelo Anthony

jeremy lin

After winning the title with the Toronto Raptors, Jeremy Lin became the first player of Asian descent to win such an award in NBA history. Even though Jeremy Lin didn't play many minutes for the Raptors, especially in the Finals, and his impact wasn't as crucial as it was in his earlier days he gained a lot of recognition for being a great teammate capable of adapting to new systems and playing his role whatever that might be.

In the last couple of days, there were a lot of NBA fans making remarks about how Jeremy Lin was able to win a championship sooner than Carmelo Anthony, his former teammate. Lin didn't appreciate the shade that is being thrown at Carmelo so he decided to spoke about it on his Instagram page and defend his former teammate.

"Been seeing a lot of shade thrown towards Melo. Just wanna ask everybody to stop. Whatever happened happened but that's irrelevant now. We can celebrate one without cutting down another. Lifes too short, bballs too precious and love is too rare these days. You have one life to live. Be gracious, forgiving, loving, servant-hearted."
