Debating about players and teams from different eras is one of the favorite things to do in all of the NBA world. Although there are endless debates, one always pops up, and we often hear the opinions of fans, current and former players, coaches, executives, etc. That is the Michael Jordan-LeBron James GOAT debate.

The endless debate

Former NBA player and one of the flashiest point guards in NBA history, Jason Williams, recently spoke on the MJ-LBJ GOAT debate and shared his choice with a little twist:

"I'm picking LeBron. Bro, I mean, I'm never going to change. ... I'm not a big stat guy. I mean, I think it matters a little bit, but I just look at you as a player...I like the way LeBron plays the game as a team guy, more so than MJ did... But if I need a win tonight or I need a bucket right now, I'm taking MJ. But as a player, I'm taking LeBron."

Jason Williams, Players Choice

Jason Williams has been loud and clear a couple of times about proclaiming LeBron the greatest player of all time ahead of Jordan, and this time was no different. But now, he added and concluded that Michael would still be his first choice when it comes to getting a bucket and winning a game.

Basically, Williams still sees MJ as the cold-blooded winner, while LeBron is the complete and more rounded player. That opinion is something a lot of people would agree with, but it further complicates the debate. If you want Jordan more to win you a game, you would always choose him over LeBron, who is maybe more consistent. And being that guy should actually make you the GOAT.

But Williams feels LeBron's size, passing ability, longevity, and all the factors he has over Michael makes him the greatest player of all time. Jason even once proclaimed LeBron is even a better scorer than Michal, making it obvious that he is a bit biased towards LeBron and not the biggest fan of "His Airness." Definitely an opinion a lot of fans would disagree with.
