Jalen Rose is confident Kawhi Leonard is returning to Toronto

Earlier this day you probably saw across different social media channels that Kawhi will make his decision later today or tomorrow morning, on 4th July. In the last couple of days, two teams surfaced as the main contenders to get Kawhi, the Lakers and obviously Raptors.

It also seems Kawhi is healding the entire league captured, with some teams and players waiting for his decision so they can make their moves. According to Jalen Rose who was hosted on the show "Get Up" said it's 99% Kawhi is returning back to Toronto.

What is also interesting according to Jalen Rose, is the fact that Kawhi will sign a two year, after which he will make him eligible to sign a potential record-breaking contract in two years.

"So as you just saw, Kawhi Leonard is in Toronto. What I'm 99% hearing is that Kawhi Leonard will be returning to Toronto on a 2-year contract. He completed his eighth seasons, which is going to put him at ten years and that puts him in a position to get the largest available maximum deal for a player of his tenure. "

It will be interesting to see what decision Kawhi makes and whether Jalen Rose was accurate but it definitely makes sense from a business point of view for Kawhi to make this type of decision. The Raptors will still be competitive and will have an incentive to further improve their roster which will make the eastern conference one of the best we've seen in recent years.
