In a world without Curry, LeBron would be the GOAT

It's crazy to think but true.

If Curry never became unanimous MVP Curry the league would be totally different.

  1. Lebron probably wins the 2015 Finals against the Houston Rockets.
  2. Durant never loses to GSW in the WCF in 2016. Neither does Durant leave OKC while making the Finals and losing to Lebron again.
  3. Cavs probably win 2017 Finals ( 3 peat)

If Curry never becomes Curry, then Lebron would have 5 Titles by now. He would definitely be the favorite to win in 2018. And probably finishes his career with 7 or 8 titles.

Lebron would be the undisputed GOAT.

But Curry changed everything.

This is why Lebron has a usual disdain for Curry ( see 2016 Finals). Lebron has a super high BBIQ, and in his heart of hearts, he knows this tiny assassin is the reason he won't be the GOAT. Ironic. Almost like a Greek tragedy. Or almost like the Lord of the Rings. A small Hobbit (Curry) brings an end to a Mighty Demi-god (Lebron).

Curry became something that no one saw coming. And I mean no one. And he totally ruined what should have been LeBron's coronation of being the GOAT.
