Boban Marjanovic and Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic is the Mavericks' most idolized player and has been that for some time now. But, Doncic isn't the only European adored by the masses. The 7'4" behemoth from Serbia Boban Marjanovic is beloved wherever he goes. Boban was often used as a rotational player for the Mavs but was highly impactful on both ends of the court. Mavericks' amazing European connection

Over the years, Dallas Mavericks have managed to recruit and sign some of the best European talents. It's fair to say that they possess a deep association with Europe. Fast-forward to 2022, and you can hear the Mavericks faithful chant "Luka Magic" from the stands as Doncic is rising in the ranks to become one of the best players in the NBA. Dirk isn't on the court anymore, but in Maxi Kleber, the Mavs still have a player representing Wurzburg, Germany.
