HILARIOUS Lakers forgot Quinn Cook in the arena

Quinn-Cook

There are a lot of people, emotions, and champagne in a championship locker room. Things can get pretty chaotic. Many people want to congratulate each other and celebrate a moment they've all worked their entire life for. Still, you'd think forgetting a player in the arena would be almost impossible. Almost. The Lakers were in their bus riding back to the arena when a familiar account asked the team to U-turn and come get him.

I could even understand this happening in a regular-season where there are truly many people in the locker room and in the arena. But this is the Orlando bubble with a very limited number of people allowed. Not only did they forget Cook, but he obviously couldn't get through to anyone except via commenting on JR Smith's IG live. That one's gonna sting for a while.

There were a lot of reports about Lakers chemistry and camaraderie developing throughout the year. The way the team came together in the bubble and, in the end, won the title is a testament to that. Still, the team should make this up for Cook somehow. Usually, you have a bus buddy that should notice, and whoever that owes Cook dinner.

Cook played 44 games this season and played around 11 minutes while coming off the bench. He also got to feature for a few minutes in the Lakers playoff runs during blowout wins against the Blazers and the Heat. This is Cook's second title; how first was with the Warriors in '17/'18.
