Good news is coming for the New Orleans Pelicans fans regarding Zion Williamson

Zion-Williamson

The big news these days in the NBA alongside the conference finals game was definitely NBA draft lottery which surprised many. The New Orleans Pelicans were fortunate enough to land the first pick and will most probably draft Zion Williamson from Duke.

Immediately after the draft lottery, there were several speculations going around whether Zion is happy to get drafted by the Pelicans and there was even some information he might return back to Duke which is absolute nonsense. Zion Williamson is heavily involved in these conversations because many teams are looking to engage themselves in trade talks with the Pelicans for Anthony Davis who has been unhappy within the franchise for quite some time now.

The good news is that Zion's stepfather spoke out about the whole topic and said Zion will definitely welcome playing for the team from New Orleans and that there returning back to Duke was never an option for the young prospect and his family.
