Giannis Antetokounmpo has had quite a busy summer, playing for the Greece national team at the FIBA EuroBasket 2022. The tournament concluded with Spain beating France 88-76 in the finals, and Giannis Antetokounmpo took to his Instagram account to document his summer. He posted a 10-picture carousel with the caption:

This summer. This team. This jersey. This flag. Made me fall in love with basketball again. We kept our promise, we gave it all.

Giannis recorded the best scoring average in the tournament

Antetokounmpo was a dominant force for Greece throughout the tournament. He missed just one game in the group phase, finishing with averages of 29.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in six games. His scoring average was the best in the tournament, with Lauri Markkanen (27.9) finishing second behind him.

Giannis did most of the heavy-lifting, with Giannoulis Larentzakis chipping in with 18 points off the bench.
