FLOYD MAYWEATHER COMPARES LeBron and Jordan: 'If I have to choose one, I'm choosing Michael Jordan'

One of the most popular debates among NBA fans in the last couple of years is whether LeBron James or Michael Jordan is the GOAT in the NBA. Even though most people would agree Jordan is the best player in NBA history, you can't deny LeBron is making his presence felt. If he wins his 4th NBA championships after this season, he will come closer to Jordan; however, these comparisons are all based on personal preferences.

Floyd Mayweather, another tremendous athlete, made a guest appearance on the Club Shay Shay, where he shared his thoughts about the heated topic. According to Floyd, LeBron doesn't have the same type of 'killer' mentality that embodied Jordan throughout his career. Interestingly enough, Floyd describes LeBron as nonchalant sometimes when playing, which isn't the first time someone complained about that specific LeBron trait.

I love LeBron but one thing with Michael Jordan is that he will come out there every night to try and kill you. Every night. LeBron seems like he is playing nonchalant sometimes, which I don't like. If they are playing against each other, LeBron James is too big and strong and too fast. But if I have to choose one, I'm choosing Michael Jordan. I gotta go with somebody that will give it they all every night.

The main factor for Floyd when choosing Jordan over LeBron was his ability to impact games, especially in crunch time like no other NBA history player. Kobe Bryant also had that mentality while LeBron is a different type of player altogether, whose primary role is to facilitate even though he proved he could be clutch when necessary. Nevertheless, Floyd hopes LeBron can be more determined in those crunch situations when the game is on the line.

One of the things Floyd believes LeBron should do is spend more time with him off the court. Floyd is convinced he is the type of person who brings out the best in people to change their mindset. Maybe LeBron should take that advice, but he is doing the right thing because the Lakers are only one win away from securing another championship in their repertoire.
