Derrick Rose looked like his former self last night in a win against the New Orleans Pelicans. Rose was the leading scorer for the Pistons with 21 points, 15 of those coming in the fourth quarter; however, the most crucial moment was when he made a game-winning shot.
Rose drove past Jrue Holiday, who was playing solid defense and, after a spin move, made a jumper that sealed the victory. Rose also made sure he leaves nothing on the clock. After the game, Rose said his ability to make game-winning and decisive shots never went away and that he is pretty much "born to do this s**t".
"Excuse my English, but I'm born to do this s--t. Like, dead serious. This is what I do. That's one of the reasons why they brought me here."
Rose was also very efficient last night, shooting 9-17 from the field and also adding seven assists to his name. The Detroit Pistons are currently sitting on the 9th spot in the eastern conference and after a long time, have most of their players healthy and finally ready to show they are a serious playoff contender.
