Ben Simmons would be a All-Time Triple-Double leader for 10 teams in NBA
Ben Simmons is having a phenomenal rookie season so far with the Sixers. During his rookie season in the NBA, Ben Simmons has already proven that he is destined to become a superstar. The team is currently in the 6th spot on the East with great chances of making the playoffs for the first time in several years after they went into "Tanking Mode"
Simmons' body and athleticism force a comparison to LeBron James, which is exacerbated by the fact that the two share a student-teacher relationship. What separates Simmons from the average player at his position is his area of operation. Utilizing his background as a power forward, the Sixers have basically inverted the expectations of how an offense can work.
In his last game against Charlott Hornets Simmons ended the game with an impressive stat line of 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 15 assists.
Simmons is currently 3rd all-time for the 76ers in triple-doubles with 9, trailing only Charles Barkley (10) and Wilt Chamberlain (62). However, if Simmons played for any of the teams listed in the title, he would be their franchise leader or tied for the franchise lead in triple-doubles after only 68 NBA games.
