The Miami Heat are one of the positive surprises so far this season. The Heat are currently 3rd in the eastern conference with a 23-8 record heading into the end of this year. This team is peculiar in a right way on many different levels. For example, The Miami Heat have zero players averaging over 20.5 points per game, but seven players are currently averaging over 11 points per game. Their ability to have several players that can step up at any given moment made the Heat one of the best teams to watch in the NBA.

One of the players that showed immense development and is one of the critical parts of their team on both sides of the floor is Bam Adebayo. This is his 3rd year with the Heat, and Adebayo is considered as a candidate for the most improved player in the league award. He is currently averaging career-high in points with almost 16 per game, but his presence on defense has been astonishing and crucial for the Heat.
