If we aren't "talking about practice," we're talking about his spending habits. But not nearly enough do we talk about what Allen Iverson is and has been for the game of basketball. Or even how he's doing almost a decade removed from his playing career.

None of us are asking those questions, but A.I. gave us the answers.

"Worry 'bout you motherfuc*er"

For someone who's done so much for the NBA worldwide, it seems unfair that Iverson's life has been trivialized to a single post-game interview or his account balance. But we, as fans, did just that. And Iverson has had enough of it.

Worry 'bout you motherfuc*er. I'm good. Me and my family straight. We good.

"I can be better, and I'm gonna be better," Iverson continued. "Don't worry 'bout me, Jack. Love me, man, hug me, dap me up. All that other sh*t, man, keep my personal business out your motherfuc*ing mind. Get it out of your head, man. We alright over here."

Iverson's message to haters

Iverson got criticized for looking after his family and friends, but the Hall of Famer doesn't regret it a second. He perhaps would've changed how he did it-- he'd follow LeBron James' example more -- but not supporting the ones he loves will forever be out of the question for the Hall of Famer. And if you think that's still taking a toll on A.I. and his well-being, it's not.

"I'm over here doing a podcast with Willie D and Scarface," he said. "I'm fine. I'ma get on that plane, I'ma go home to that woman and them kids and kiss 'em and love 'em and eat real good and whatever, man."

My fans, I'ma be with them, I'ma keep posting on Instagram so they can see me being coold. I'ma do this right here and whatever, man; I'ma live my motherfuc*ing life. That's what I'm gonna do. And you worry 'bout yours, man.

Allen Iverson, Geto Boys Reloaded

Iverson's message resonates with the entire NBA community, especially following Michael Beasley's emotional interview where, among other things, he talked about how media narratives shaped peoples' perceptions about him.

Throughout his NBA career, Iverson was a victim of the same thing. However, his undeniable talent and uncompromising personality off the court resulted in the Sixers legend having a lot more fans than haters. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't have love for the latter.

"To any hatin' motherfuc*er, I love you, brother, or sister," the Hall of Famer said. "I love you. Hey man, how you doin'? Everything alright? Cause I ain't worried 'bout nothing but the fact that you alright. That's all I care about. I ain't got time for no negative punk-ass sh*t, no sucker-ass nowhere-near-positive-ass sh*t in life, man. Live. Laugh. Love, man. Do that. Concentrate on that."

Iverson is much more than a minutes-long practice rant. His NBA resume shows it, but even more, this interview shows it. Let's all remember him for that, instead of a moment of weakness with a backstory very few people are aware of.
