Russell Westbrook is having another historic season averaging a triple-double for the fourth time in his career. He is only two triple-doubles away from passing Oscar Robertson as the all-time leader in that category. Westbrook has been incredibly consistent this year playing in every game, and after a rocky start with the Washington Wizards, the team as a whole has picked up big time and is now very close to making the playoffs.

In a recent episode on ESPN's First Take show, the crew discussed the comparisons between Westbrook and another NBA legend Allen Iverson. Westbrook often mentioned his role models growing up were Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant, which can be seen in how he approaches the game with unmatched passion and emotion.

They discussed Westbrook and Iverson's impact on the NBA, while Kendrick Perkins argued there would never be anyone like Westbrook even though he has a lot of respect and love for Iverson. On the other hand, Max Kellerman and Stephen A.Smith said they would go with Iverson in that case and made some reasonable arguments behind their reasoning.

"With all due respect to Allen Iverson, we will never see another Russell Westbrook in our lifetime. So with that being said, I'm taking Westbrook's career over AI's."

Iverson was also watching the show, and he immediately went to his Twitter account to compliment the debate that was going on about him and Westbrook. He also used the opportunity to share his appreciation for Westbrook and everything he's been doing, showcasing incredible respect for him and how he plays the game.
