Even though Kawhi Leonard won a championship with the Toronto Raptors there have been serious rumors going around that he is considering other teams in the upcoming free agency. According to Stephen A.Smith who hosted on the "Get Up" show a team that is on Kawhi's wish list are the Los Angeles Lakers.

There were several indications the team he was predominantly interested in joining this summer were obviously the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers. It seems Kawhi changed his mind a bit and his focus has switched to the Los Angeles Lakers who acquired Anthony Davis and cleared enough cap space to offer another max deal.

Stephen A.Smith said the Clippers and Raptors are worried about this situation simply because of the fact Lakers have a strong case and the capability to land Kawhi which will definitely make them the biggest contender to win the west next season.

"From last night and this morning, I have received a word that Kawhi is seriously considering the Los Angeles Lakers. The Clippers are very nervous right now and obviously with the case of Toronto Raptors why should he even acquire a meeting with them because he just won a championship with them and played with them for the past year so I don't see why they would need to have a pitch. It comes down to Toronto or the two LA teams. You shouldn't dismiss the Clippers but I was told specifically don't dismiss the Lakers because they are in play for Kawhi Leonard."
