NBA players these days are extremely famous and recognizable on the streets. Some of the biggest names in the league at the moment could be considered as rock-n-roll stars when you actually see how many fans they have and the number of people buying their products.

Fans often have a disrupted image of their favorite players often seeing them as supernatural beings different from them when in reality it’s often the other way around. One of the players who pretty much confirmed this statement was none other than Klay Thompson.

Klay is regarded as one of the nicest guys both on and off the court. He is one of the best shooters in NBA history and one of the most down to earth players out there. In an interview for 60 minutes, he also reflected on the topic of NBA players not being so much different in many ways from their fans.

“You kind of see what you get. The ball goes in the hoop a lot and have fun while doing it. You will see some dunks, threes but behind the scenes, we are not that interesting. We are pretty normal. We enjoy our families, outdoors, movies, music, art, food. We’re not special superhuman superheroes. We’re just blessed to have a great job and have fun while doing it.”
