The Golden State Warriors had a surprising loss to the Phoenix Suns last night who are playing really well for the past ten days beating some of the best teams in the league. Even though they lost the game, perhaps even the worst thing about the game was the ankle injury Kevin Durant suffered in the middle of the fourth quarter.
Apart from that, Klay Thompson was unhappy with the Warriors fans who weren’t as supportive as they usually are during playoff games. Thompson who finished the game with 28 points said it’s hard for them to keep the high energy for the entire season and how fans should help them in tough games with their energy. According to Thompson that didn’t happen last night against the Suns when they needed that the most.
I’m not sure man, it’s a long season. We’ve been playing a lot of basketball for 5 years now so you’re not going to be perfect for 82 games. We had too many missteps. That was the first time we lost to that team in 19 games so it’s ugly. I expect our crowd to be into it more too. I know it’s not the playoffs but it is one of our last games in Oracle. We see if people stand up if we make a good play. We need this energy especially in this time of the season. It’s hard to conjure up energy every single night cause you’re looking for the playoffs and that run so we expect our fans to bring that from the jump. It’s like us, you can’t bring it every night but still, it helps. It doesn’t matter if we are playing the Suns or the Bucks whoever it is, but we need that energy because we feed off it
