Kendrick Perkins compared the Golden State Warriors to Floyd Mayweather and gave the Rockets a piece of advice to beat them

The Warriors against the Rockets was one of the most expected playoff series and you can definitely say it’s the NBA finals before the actual finals. However, the much-expected series turned out to be mostly focused around the refs and their decisions rather than basketball. Both teams were constantly complaining about the ref’s decisions throughout the first two games and it was mostly the Rockets who believe they are not getting a fair treatment.

In a recent episode of the “Undisputed” Kendrick Perkins joined the show and gave his thoughts on the series so far and how Rockets are the only one who should be blamed for their result after the first two games. Perkins compared Warriors to Floyd Mayweather and said that Rockets, in order to win this series, will need to knock them out and not get tangled up with the refs.

“We keep talking about officiating. First of all, the Rockets haven’t been playing well the last four games. Even the last 2 games of the Utah series. So then you go into Golden State in order to beat the champs you have to beat the champs. It’s just like boxing if you’re going against Floyd Mayweather. You have to knock Floyd out and you can’t take it to a decision. Doc Rivers told us a long time ago to never put the game in hands of the refs. So I am sick of hearing about all this the refs blew the game. No, the Rockets blew the game. They had several opportunities to win and they didn’t capitalize.”
