Last night in the NBA brought us a very interesting game between the Sixers who beat the Nets at their home court and took a 3-1 lead against the team from Brooklyn.
It was one of the most intense playoff games so far this season which could have easily gone the Nets way, however, Joel Embiid showed why he should be in consideration for the MVP conversation this year. Embiid dominated both ends of the floor and finished the game with 31 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6 blocks providing big plays at the end of the game.
After the game in a press conference, Embiid touched upon several topics surrounding the rivalry with the Nets and how important last night’s win was for the team. Since he is known as a jokester with a big personality he used that opportunity to make a joke about the Warriors and their 3-1 lead loss against the Cavaliers couple of years ago.
“We definitely don’t want to be in the situation like the Warriors two years ago …”

Hopefully, the same faith won’t happen to the Sixers in this series against the Nets, especially if Embiid performs the same way in game 5 as he did last night.
